Spotlight: Got his act together last season once the blinkers went on, going back-to-back over C&D (good) before finishing third behind the well-handicapped Saddadd (third in a Group 1 this season) on his return visit (soft); interesting on all that as he's still on a fair mark, and perhaps Epsom didn't float his boat when reappearing in April.

Spotlight: Impressed in a 1m2f novice last season and hasn't been disgraced in any of his three handicaps, especially last time at Newbury (1m2f, good) where he was never ideally positioned; possibilities.

Spotlight: Usually gives his running and won with a bit in hand over 1m here two weeks ago (1m, good); goes further this afternoon and off a career-high mark (4lb higher), so likely to need more.

Spotlight: Has some back-class but now 0-9 for this yard after beating one home on his return to 1m2f at Windsor 18 days ago; on the plus side, this bigger field might be more to his liking and in two previous visits to Sandown he's finished first and third; no surprise if he went well under Oisin Murphy, under whom he was fourth in last year's Golden Mile at Glorious Goodwood (on soft).

Spotlight: Fine from 1m to 1m4f; has won on turf but the AW looks more his scene and especially Kempton where he beat all bar a handicap snip the last time; back on grass others look safer.

Spotlight: Down the field at York a month ago after 322 days off but that was on good ground and his best form has come on soft and heavy; handicapped to go well should conditions turn in his favour.

Spotlight: Won this in 2021 and was third in one of the divisions 12 months ago; returns off a 6lb higher mark than last year but on the back of two wins at Lingfield, the latest narrowly from the front off 3lb lower; thriving 9yo who must have some sort of chance.

Spotlight: Made all up the favoured stands' rail over Lingfield's extended 7f a month ago but has only gone up 3lb and he's likeably consistent; this does look more competitive than usual, however.

Spotlight: Last successful over C&D on soft ground in September 2024; reproduced that best form on two occasions during a light campaign in 2025 and rain-softened ground would be a major plus for him.

Spotlight: Emphatic winner on her reappearance at Lingfield (1m2f, AW) in April and the 8lb rise probably a factor in her coming up short at Leicester (good to firm); this is tougher again.

Spotlight: All wins have been at 1m2f, on ground ranging from soft to good; therefore, his reappearance effort when a closing third (just behind Sweet Reward) over the extended 1m at Epsom can be viewed positively.

Spotlight: Sole success came in France (9.5f, AW) as a 2yo; early days with George Scott and latest Newbury run (1m2f, good) wasn't devoid of promise for all that he never threatened; could come good again at some point.

Spotlight: Very capable off this mark when on his game but he refused to race on final run of last season and hasn't looked overly keen to get involved this campaign.

Spotlight: 0-7 since his winning debut at two for Aidan O'Brien; has contested strong Class 2 handicaps since being gelded last summer (hooded) but was beaten about 10l on both occasions; others appeal more.
